Modcloth Mini Megapost: Season Three
Rachel’s fashion sense has changed so much since the day she first graced our television screens! Gone are the days of cardigans with pompoms and zip-up velour hoodies — they’ve been replaced by a new wardrobe filled with vintage (or vintage inspired), classic, and romantic frocks that are enough to make viewers like you and me swoon.
In all actuality, it’s not that hard to copy Rachel’s new style. There’s only a few rules you need to follow. Look for dresses that are figure flattering, and ideally, accentuate the waist. (Of course, there are exceptions to every rule. Rachel dons the occasional drop-waist or trapeze dress once in awhile. I’ll cover that in the near future!) Pleats are a definite wardrobe staple. If you’d like, explore trends like colorblocking or lace. Don’t be afraid to ditch your normally conservative necklines for deeper ones — even Rachel has taken the leap recently!

Of course, complete your look by pairing these frocks with a pair of simple pumps or flats, a delicate necklace, and if you’d like, a beret. The goal is to make looking classy, fun, youthful, and put-together easy.
